Responsible for handling the billing process for medical services rendered, ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims, and resolving any billing discrepancies. This role requires a thorough understanding of medical billing codes, insurance guidelines, and healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Must show evidence of job-specific competencies.
  • Proficiency in medical billing software (i.e.: gMed, Epic, etc.)
  • Must follow up on claims using various systems.
  • Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10 codes, HCPCS, CMS-1500 claim forms, and managed care processes.
  • Must analyze reports for accuracy.
  • Must be an independent thinker and able to work in a team environment.
  • Must be able to use discretion in dealing with confidential information.
  • Capable of prioritizing and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with gastrointestinal conditions. This role includes performing assessments, diagnosing and treating conditions, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Summary of Qualifications (more details will be provided if CV is chosen for consideration):

  • Required: Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in Adult, Family, or Acute Care for NPs, or a Master’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in gastroenterology or a related field preferred.
  • Licensure: Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
  • Certifications: National certification as an NP (e.g., ANCC, AANP) or PA (NCCPA). BLS and ACLS certification required.
  • Clinical Skills: Proficiency in performing clinical assessments, diagnostic evaluations relevant to gastroenterology.
  • Analytical Ability: Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively educate and interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Compassion: Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with gastrointestinal diseases and disorders. This role involves performing diagnostic procedures, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a residency in Internal Medicine.
  • Completion of a fellowship in Gastroenterology.
  • Board certification in Gastroenterology.
  • Valid North Carolina medical license.
  • Proven clinical experience in gastroenterology, preferably in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Proficiency in performing a wide range of gastrointestinal procedures.
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients and visitors while ensuring smooth and efficient operations at the front desk.

This role involves:

  • Greeting patients and visitors warmly as they arrive at the clinic.
  • Verifying patient information and updating records in the system.
  • Ensuring all necessary forms and documents are completed accurately.
  • Collecting co-pays, deductibles, and other fees as required.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting, preferably in gastroenterology.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and general office software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures is preferred.

Responsible for providing direct patient care under the guidance of healthcare professionals, assisting with clinical and administrative tasks in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The role involves working closely with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the clinic and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification from an accredited agency such as the AAMA or AMT is highly preferred but not required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to empathize with and support patients.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and multitask in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic medical equipment.
  • Must have strong critical thinking skills.
  • Must be able to use discretion in dealing with confidential information.
  • Capable of prioritizing and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required for qualified candidates.
