Dr. Chiniwalla is a graduate of Temple University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Temple University Hospital and his fellowship in gastroenterology was completed at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Chiniwalla joined Northeast Digestive Health Center in 2006.
A self-proclaimed foodie, Dr. Chiniwalla enjoys Asian, Thai, and Indian cuisine, the spicier the better. However, he's never averse to a great steak and a glass of red wine as well. When it comes to time away from the office, Dr. Chiniwalla subscribes to the "work hard, play harder" philosophy. He enjoys spending time at the beach, hiking in the mountains, or lounging with his family in front of the T.V with a bag of Doritos. Dr. Chiniwalla went into medicine because he loves to help others. If he manages to help someone avoid or resolve some disease process, then he considers that day a success. He's also immensely grateful for his amazing clinical, endoscopy, and administrative team that makes his job easy!
